Please standby. When loading a new version of iSupport Client or getting an updated version, a few moments may be required to download and install the software. This application is to be used on Windows-based PCs with Internet Explorer version 5.1 or newer as the browser.
If you are talking to a service representative and don't want to deal with ActiveX, you can alternatively use the iSupport Installed Client.
Note for Users of Vista or XP Service Pack 2Because of added Internet security features in Windows, you will need to follow these specific steps: 1. You may receive an Information Bar dialog box stating the following, "Did you notice the Information Bar? The Information Bar alerts you when Internet Explorer blocks a pop-up window or file download that might not be safe." 2. If this dialog box appears, then click on the OK button. 3. The Information Bar of the browser will indicate, "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this site from showing certain content. Click here for options..." 4. Click on the Information Bar and select "Installation Blocked" from the menu. Then select "Install ActiveX Control." 5. An Internet Explorer - Security Warning dialog box will appear. Click on the Install button. 6. The application will be installed and the iSupport Client window will open. |
Depending on security and firewall programs on your PC, you may be requested to make additional approvals. This application contains ActiveX components. Depending on your browser security settings, you may be requested to approve running this module.
If your operating system environment is outdated and requires newer operating system components, the install process may request that you reboot your system after the download is complete. You will need to reconnect to the Internet and perform another alert if this occurs.
