iSupport Client
Instructions for First-Time Installation

iSupport Installed Client is for first-time customers and clients who are engaging in an iSupport session. A small module of iSupport Client software will be downloaded and installed on your PC. It's a simple, 30-second task to load the software. Just click on the Download link below.

Other Information

1. You must have administrative privileges to install iSupport Client software. However, as a feature of the installation, any users will receive the iSupport Client icon automatically, and they can launch the application in user mode without being in administrative mode.

2. If the software installs but iSupport Client fails to connect, check whether a firewall program is active. If so, approval may need to be given for iSupport Client to connect to the Internet. For Norton Personal Firewall, a dialog box will be displayed prompting for an approval.

3. If the software installs but iSupport Client fails to connect, check if port 443 is blocked. This will cause the connection to fail since port 443 is the default port used to connect to the iSupport server. In such case, you should select Port 80 instead of Port 443 in the iSupport Client window.

4. You can uninstall iSupport Client software at any time. Click on Start and select Programs / iSupport Client / Uninstall iSupport Client.
