Run an iSupport Macro
It's very simple to run an iSupport macro:
Ensure that the macro is saved in the iSupport/Macros folder (or the folder you have designated as the base macro folder) on the technician's PC. You can see further details on installing macros at: Install Macro.
To use the macro during an iSupport session, simply click on the Macro button from the iSupport Control Panel. Then select the macro and click on Run.
There are three subfolders within the Macros folder: Files, Subroutines and Logs. The Files subfolder contains associated files called by the macro. The Subroutines subfolder contains macro subroutines called by the macro. The Logs subfolder is used by the macro to store files and logs produced during macro execution.

Notes:
Certain macros in the library are hard coded to use the default macro folder on the technician's PC, i.e., iSupport/Macros on the drive containing the OS. If you use a folder other than this, please change the macro code accordingly before running.
