iSupport Automated Agent and Portals
The true power of iSupport lies in its ability to diagnose and resolve problems in fully automated sessions. This approach frees up technicians to work on other classes of problems and higher priority issues. It also ensures that uniform, consistent repairs are performed in the shortest possible period of time with the least expensive resources.

iSupport automated sessions rely on two underlying iSupport capabilities:

Automated Agent. Allows groups of PCs or a server to accept iConnect alerts, launch an iSupport session and execute the appropriate test/repair sequence without human intervention. In addition, iSupport Agent software gives individual technicians the ability to switch into Automated Agent mode with a click of the mouse.
Macro Programming. Allows the individual primitive functions of iSupport to be combined together with conditional operators to form programmable test/repair sequences. Macros can address virtually any PC issue, can be written using a standard text editor, and form the overarching structure for iSupport in any of its various work modes.
